About Our Wedding
Our Love Story
Like all great modern love stories, ours started with… an app that technically didn’t exist.
Somehow, despite geography, logic, and app store limitations, Hinge decided to work in Romania just long enough for us to meet—and for that, we are forever grateful.
Anca had just moved back to Bucharest after ten years away, while Sebastian was still living in Zurich. Instead of meeting for coffee, we started with screens, time zones, and a lot of online dates. For almost two months, we talked, laughed, and slowly realized that this wasn’t just a “let’s see where it goes” situation.
When we finally met face to face, it felt… easy. Comfortably familiar. Like we had skipped a few steps and landed exactly where we were supposed to be. From that moment on, everything flowed naturally—no drama, no grand speeches, just a quiet certainty that this was something real.
Along the way, our little family grew when Tofu and Mitică entered the picture. Bringing two cats together was, in many ways, the ultimate relationship test—and somehow, we all passed. Their story is a love story of its own, and proof that patience, snacks, and mutual respect go a long way.
Now here we are—happy, grateful, and incredibly excited to get married. We can’t wait to celebrate love, life, and this slightly improbable, very perfect journey with all of you.

The wedding ceremony will take place at the historic Kretzulescu Church, a hidden gem on Victoria Street in the heart of Bucharest. Built in 1722 by the boyar Iordache Kretzulescu, the church is a masterpiece of Brâncovenesc architecture, where delicate stone carvings, elegant columns, and centuries-old frescoes tell stories of faith and devotion. Stepping inside, we will be surrounded by the warm glow of gilded details, the serene beauty of painted saints, and the quiet reverence that fills this sacred space. On this day, the church’s timeless charm becomes the perfect witness to their vows, as love, faith, and family come together to mark the beginning of a shared life. Each moment under its historic arches will be a memory to treasure forever, a union blessed in both spirit and heart.

Our wedding party will sparkle under the elegant The Tent at the Diplomatic Club, set amidst lush greenery and a lively, festive atmosphere. Expect music, dancing, laughter, and delicious food, plus plenty of fun for everyone: outdoor games, a gelato bar to sweeten the day, and a photo booth to capture all the smiles and silliness. This is a celebration of love, joy, and togetherness, and we can’t wait to make unforgettable memories with the people who mean the most to us!
